a) Complete each sentence with a word from the box.

1. She only works two hours every morning — it’s just a part-time job.

b) What’s the difference between:
1. A part-time job and a full-time job?
Full-time employment is usually considered between 30-40 hours a week, while part-time employment is usually less than 30 hours a week.
2. To earn money and to spend money?
Earning — your ability to bring in money. Spending — your ability to live frugally and spend wisely.
3. To spend money and to save money?

Spending — your ability to live frugally and spend wisely. Saving — your ability to produce a surplus and to make that surplus grow.
4. To spend money and to waste money?

You can spend your money on things, but if you buy more than is necessary or things that are not useful, you are wasting your money.
